Did the Greeks invent concrete?

Concrete, as we understand it today, was not invented by the Greeks. The use of concrete traces back to earlier civilizations, primarily the Romans, who developed a more advanced form of concrete using volcanic ash and lime, which greatly enhanced its strength and durability. While the Greeks utilized a type of mortar and expanded on various construction techniques, they did not create concrete in the way that the Romans did.
